How Rapid Response Works

Spotting the Signs

We gather data and conduct proactive outreach—like business visits and layoff forecasting—to detect early signs of potential layoffs or industry shifts.

Planning & Partnership

Our team collaborates with local partners and economic experts to build strategies that support businesses and protect workers from disruptions.

Building Skills

We connect employers and workers with targeted training programs—like customized training, apprenticeships, and incumbent worker training—to prepare for new opportunities before or after a layoff.

Matching Talent with Opportunity

Through events like talent transfer fairs and reemployment boot camps, we help workers transition into in-demand jobs and connect growing businesses with skilled candidates.

Tracking Trends

We continuously monitor economic changes and industry trends, helping us adapt support strategies and stay ahead of workforce needs.

Providing Extra Support

When needed, we can offer additional resources and services to assist businesses and workers through significant transitions.
