Youth EXPLO
Helping Our Youth Find Their Passion & Develop a Career Path
EXPLO participants can explore careers, develop skills, and earn while they learn through paid internships in high-demand fields like healthcare, tech, and skilled trades. Along with work experience, each youth will be partnered with a career coach who will connect them to supportive services designed to remove barriers, and stay engaged for an entire year to provide wraparound career development support and help launch them onto a career path.
Who is it for?
EXPLO Program with ARIZONA@WORK Coconino County, designed for youth ages 16–24 who face barriers such as:

Dropped out or stopped out of school

Subject to the justice system

Unhoused or runaway

Currently or formerly in foster care

Pregnant or parenting

A person with a disability

Basic skills deficient

English language learner

Low income
